Terms of service
These terms apply when you use sleightheday.co.uk or buy from us. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
1. About us
Sleigh the Day is a trading name of Abell & Co Trading Ltd, a private limited company registered in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@sleightheday.co.uk.
2. Our products
We sell Christmas clothing, homeware and gifts in our own original designs. Every item is printed to order by our UK print partners. We try to show colours, designs and sizes accurately, but colours can look slightly different on different screens, and print size and placement can vary slightly from item to item.
3. Personalised items
You're responsible for the names, text and details you give us. We print exactly what you type, including spelling, capitals and punctuation. You must not submit anything offensive, unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse or cancel an order that does, and refund you in full.
4. Orders and prices
- Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. UK delivery is free.
- When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We'll email you to confirm we've received it. The contract between us is formed when we send that confirmation.
- If we can't fulfil your order, for example because an item is unavailable or there's an obvious pricing error, we'll tell you and give you a full refund.
5. Payment
Payment is taken when you place your order. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
6. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery times and our Christmas order deadline are explained in our Shipping Policy. The goods are your responsibility once they've been delivered to the address you gave us.
7. Your right to cancel
For non-personalised items, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. Personalised items are made to your specification, so this right doesn't apply to them. Our Refund Policy explains how cancellations and returns work.
8. Faulty or damaged items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If something is wrong with your order, contact us and we'll repair, replace or refund it in line with your legal rights.
9. Our liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
10. Events outside our control
We're not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal strikes, severe weather or supplier problems. If this happens, we'll let you know and you can cancel for a full refund if the delay is significant.
